How do I adjust the crop area?
Drag the handles on the edges and corners to resize the selection. Drag from inside the selection to reposition it. Drag outside the selection to draw a new one from scratch.
Is the crop at full resolution?
The crop is applied at the image's original resolution, not the displayed size. The downloaded file will be full quality.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
All cropping runs in your browser using the Canvas API. No image data is transmitted anywhere.
What formats can I upload?
The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files. JPEG inputs are saved as JPEG; all other formats are saved as PNG.
Can I crop to an exact aspect ratio?
The current tool lets you draw a freeform crop area. For a constrained aspect ratio, crop and then resize with the Image Resizer tool.
